My Quick Review Of The Two Top Brands Of Sugar Free Margarita Mix

Looking for a Sugar Free Margarita Mix? Take a look at this quick review of the two most popular brands: Baja Bob and Zilch Sugar Free Margaritas.

Baja Bob's

Baja Bob's Margarita Mix is sweetened with Splenda.

In case you don't know, Splenda is very bad for you. Take a look at my article on the Dangers Of Splenda. You will quickly see why this product is not really a healthy alternative for you.

So Baja Bob's Mix is out of the picture, because I simply won't recommend anything that has Splenda in it. The stuff is awful for you.

Zilch's

The other brand of Margarita Mix I have found that claims to be sugar free is Zilch's.

What is it sweetened with?

Aspartame.

Just like Splenda, Aspartame is simply awful for you. If you are looking to have a healthy diet, then aspartame is out of the picture.

Once again, I simply won't recommend a product that is bad for you (Especially since Aspartame Eats Holes in your Brain)

Summary:

Tough luck finding a sugarless margarita mix that is actually healthy for you.

Yeah, there are these two alternatives, but they really aren't any better for you than their sugared counterparts.

I apologize for not being able to find a product that is safe to eat...but if it doesn't exist I can't find it!

I hope this helps you in some way! Thanks for reading.

Natural Sugar Substitute Of The Month: Erythritol

Erythritol is a great substitute for sugar, although it is only about 65% as sweet as sugar, so you'll need to use more of it in order to properly bake with it.
