These Sugar Free Almond Crescent Cookies Are a High-Class Delight

"A recipe has no soul.  You, as the baker, must bring soul to the recipe."



The sweet coating on these sugar free almond crescent cookies is not only a delicious way to finish a meal, but is an easy-to-make recipe as well!

Make sure you bring these around to all the snooty-type people that you know! Give 'em a taste of what my sugar free delights have to offer!

Allergy Information:

Sugar-Free

Peanut-Free (Contains Almonds though...obviously)

Dairy-Free

Soy-Free



The Recipe:

  • 1/8 of a teaspoon of Stevia Organic Extract Powder
  • 1 cup of butter (Make it soft first!)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 2 and 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of ground almonds (Or Almond flour)
  • A Pinch of Stevia for coating the cookies with



Instructions:

Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.

1.

Cream the butter and stevia together until light and fluffy. Add the almond and vanilla extracts and mix together with the butter mixture.

2.

Add the flour and ground almonds. Mix with zeal!

3.

Roll the entire mix into 1-inch balls. Now shape the balls in crescents (Like in the picture!).

4.

Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet and then put the cookies on top. Bake for 18 minutes.

5.

Dust with the remaining stevia for a sweet coating (You could use Agave Nectar if you want, for a gooey-type topping.)
