These Sugar Free Almond Butter Cookies Are Really Simple To Make...

"A recipe has no soul.  You, as the baker, must bring soul to the recipe."



These simple-to-make sugar free almond butter cookies are not only delicious, but won't even take you too long to cook.

Definitely a helpful recipe for beginners.

Allergy Information:

Sugar-Free

Peanut-Free (Contains Almonds though...obviously)

Dairy-Free

Soy-Free



The Recipe:

  • 1 cup of softened butter (Margarine if you want it to be Dairy-Free)
  • 1/8 of a teaspoon of Stevia Organic Extract Powder
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/4 of a teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 36 almond halves



Instructions:

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.

Beat together butter and stevia until creamy in large bowl.

3.

Add flour, salt and almond extract, stir well.

4.

Chill dough for 1 hour. Remove from refrigerator.

5.

Pinch about 1 tablespoon of dough (about the size of a walnut) and roll in 1 inch ball. Flatten in crisscross pattern using a fork dipped in stevia or agave nectar. Press 1 almond in center.

6.

Bake on an un-greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove while warm and dip into stevia or Agave Nectar. Let cool for 10 minutes and serve.
